Meet The EB Ranch Farmstead San Clemente Island Goat herd.

In early 2024 I made a decision to focus primarily on preserving and growing the Tepper Line San Clemente Island goats. That meant shrinking my large herd down to just 15 goats. Along with the Tepper Line preservation project, I’m also working with other breeders on incredibly uncommon color variations found in this breed. Including white/cream and black and “self-black”. Understanding these color genetics, and making genetic material more widely available may help us understand the SCI goat breed better.

There are currently seven breeding does and potentially 4 breeding buck plus two wethers and a few does that have aged out of breeding.

If you are interested in raising San Clemente Island goats, feel free to get a hold of me at ebranchllc@gmail.com I will be happy to talk to you about Tepper Line preservation, and introduce you to the San Clemente Island Goat Breeders Association.
